Why is it £8.95 per issue? We wanted to make this not only an informative and entertaining publication, but a celebration of the culture of ultra running. When the envelope lands on your doorstep we want it to make a good sound, that indicates its arrival. When you’ve opened it you’ll understand – this is not an ordinary magazine. We think ofit more as a book. It’s 100 pages in length, digitally printed on 130gsm silk art paper with a 300gsm silk art board, matt-laminated cover, PUR bound for the best finish. It will feel and smell like one of the best magazines you’ve ever bought.
If you’re still unsure, please consider this:ULTRA is created by two members of the ultra running community (Andy Nuttall and Marcus Dyson) and run with the assistance of one further person, Amy Forrester. It is funded by Andy alone, with editorial contributions from dozens ofcommunity friends. It is printed in Kent by Geerings, which is headed up by ultra runners who were enthusiastic to get involved and print the best magazine they could. It is available in very limited numbers. We hope you agree, when you receive the magazine, that the quality of the content and the finish are worth the price.
We now take credit card payments using Stripe. This allows us to offer a rolling subscription option - so you pay once with your card, and then we automatically take a payment before each future issue. Hassle-free subscription – you give us your details and we’ll do the rest.
- Payment every three months – we automatically take out the cost of the magazine plus postage
- Cancel anytime – we just ask for four weeks’ notice so we know how many magazines to print!
We will ship your order to you as soon as we can after you place the order and your payment clears (which may take a few days), assuming the item is in stock. It’s a heavy magazine (almost half a kilo) so postage reflects that. Postage and packing rates for single magazines are:
